How To Apply

Who May Apply To The Charity For A Grant?

The Trustees welcome applications to the Charity from individuals and organisations that live or are based within the area of benefit, which is the Parish of West Hackney.
The West Hackney Parochial Charity has three different Grant types.

Individual Grants
Project Grants
Strategic Grants


Current Funding Priorities
The Trustees consider grant applications for purposes that come under the Charity's objects and current funding priorities which are:-
• Education and training opportunities for young people.
• To relieve individual or general need, hardship or distress.

Once we have received your form we will acknowledge it and, we will let you know if we need any further information. A Trustee or a representative from the charity may contact and visit you to discuss your application.

If you have a deadline to meet, you should allow at least six months between submitting your initial application and the deadline.
If you are not sure if you are eligible to apply, please contact us.
If you are unable to complete the form yourself, another person may apply on your behalf.

Please note that, if you are successful, your grant may be subject to certain conditions which you must agree to before accepting the grant.

Soon after the meeting, you will be informed of the Trustees decision. Your application may be supported in full or in part, rejected or defered till the next meeting.

Payments will be made after the relevent meeting and essential administration has been completed. Payments are usually made by cheque.
